As a native Californian, I lived and worked in the suburbs of Los Angeles. Since 1998 my husband and I have lived in Selma, Oregon where the forest of pine and oak trees shelter an abundance of birds, deer and other wildlife. It is an area of varied landscapes and a perfect setting for an artist who specializes in painting those subjects.
I have taught watercolors and oil painting at RCC (Adult Ed) in Kerby, Oregon where I receive tremendous joy in sharing with students my love of painting.
Now, I’ve transferred my artistic passion into jewelry making and beaded quilt wall hangings. I love to use natural gems in my pieces because nature is what inspires my designs.
